Ashdown Forest Classes
Painting or drawing outside is always very special and we are particularly privileged to have the Forest on our doorstep with its varied scenery and beautiful sunsets. With the Covid-19, outdoor classes are a very safe way to be creative as we have plenty of space to spread out! The classes are run in accordance with Government rules on social distancing, the class size is kept small, facemasks and hand sanitiser are used in accordance with guidelines and equipment is cleaned between classes. I am running classes on Friday mornings into the Autumn for as long as the weather is kind to us. Classes last 3 hours (usually 10am – 1pm) and the class fee is £15.00. Relaxed and friendly, complete beginners as well as those with experience are very welcome. People are encouraged to bring their own art materials but these are also available to buy or borrow for the class. Please contact me for more information and to book a place. (Classes are licenced and approved by The Conservators of Ashdown Forest).
Paint Like events
“Paint Like……” events have been suspended for the foreseeable future.
During the Coronavirus lockdown I have taken the opportunity to develop my own Art practice. I am currently working on a series focusing on the interior of the Pantheon dome in Rome. Yes, it is unusual – I think in these unsettling times I am seeking solace in quiet subjects. For more information about my work, please visit Art Practice
